However, there is a degree of priority for your territory and a lot will be spent on battle with other nations – so you need to choose where you spent your points wisely. Each action point can be spent doing anything from conversing with a character of choice, to exploring dungeons, to declaring war on another nation – or building up your own. You also get minor reports from other territories working around you. Each turn goes around and you get a certain amount of actions (default 3). The first thing you thought was “Triforce” and you can’t hide it.Įssentially, the game is a turn based system. I would love to relate it to Utawarerumono, but Rance’s game play is very, very different. The game looks like it has a lot of inspirations from a lot of places, but it basically plays like a visual novel on top of a territorial war game. What a perfect expansion of my youth, Gahaha! The game reminds me of a game made for Super Nintendo called “GemFire” except with a more traditional RPG battle system and typical eroge scenes. ![]() While I’m not sure too much on the history of the Rance series, Sengoku Rance works as a pretty good standalone game. So naturally, he sets his goal on raping and pillaging the rest of Japan. Rance, the mighty main character, has been hired by Oda Nobunaga to guide his army to a peaceful defense of the Oda territory. Sengoku Rance is the newest thing on Yandere Translation’s eroge list, and with good reason. “I’m going to conquer Japan and rape all the princesses!! Gahahaha!” ![]()
